Connor Kortje

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH

Connor Kortje joined the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation as a senior research fellow in October 2021 and became the Committee’s Executive Director of Research in 2025. Connor directs legal and empirical research covering various sectors of the US capital markets and financial system, including equity market structure, investment funds, banking regulation, and digital assets.

Before joining the Committee, Connor practiced law at Ropes & Gray in Boston, where he advised asset managers and financial institutions on domestic and international tax matters.
